Finding the best pads for you period.

Finding the best pads for you period.

This is a topic that comes up very often in the group as well as at shows for first time buyers.

How long? What fabrics? What absorbency?

It can get overwhelming when you first start looking into the alternative, but it's ok! We're here to help you!

First thing you want to decide is the absorbency. How do you do that?

You need to figure out what kind of period you have. While using disposables, do you:
-Use light absorbencies, moderate, or heavy?
-Do you bleed heavier for a few days and then lighter?
-Is it heavier at night? During the day?
-Front bleeder, centre bleeder, back bleeder?
It seems like a lot of questions, but once you figure out what your period flow is, you'll have a better idea on what you'll need to get pad wise.

Typically you bleed lightly the first day or 2, then heavier for 2-3 days, and then light again for the remainder. Most women need a heavier absorbency during the night.

If you fall into this general category, then you'd be best to get the following:

2-3 light 8"-9" pads
3-4 moderate 9"-10" pads
1-2 heavy 10"-11" (Or longer if you're a back or front bleeder)
With this guideline, you can easily change it to suit your needs.
Our size chart is:
8"-11" are available at ever release.
8"-9" are available in light and moderate
8"-11" are available in moderate
10"-11" are available in heavies

We hope this helps you out a little bit in deciding! We're always here to help you out if you have more question!
